Claret School of Quezon City joined the celebration of the National Book Week 2023 with the theme, Read, Reread, Relive. The theme aims to encourage every Filipino to make reading a daily habit and be part of one’s lifestyle, to raise international and proficient readers who frequently read, and to make everyone experience rebirth of the mind through one reading material at a time, as reading allows everyone to live different lives all at once.

For this year’s celebration, the CSQC - Instructional Media Center prepared fun-filled learning activities for the Claretian students in order to encourage them to learn through reading and become inspiration for others to love reading. The IMC prepared a BOOK EXHIBIT open for every Claretian. In this exhibit newly acquired and featured materials were displayed for reading and browsing. BOOK BINGO activities were set for the primary students while a BOOK SCAVENGER HUNT was arranged for the Intermediate and Junior High School students. BLACKOUT POETRY was made available for Junior High School students and School Personnel. For Senior High School students, a POEM MAKING CHALLENGE was organized as a way to express their creativity through words. A wall for FAVORITE BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS was made available at the library where anyone can share a photo with their favorite book and leave a short message sharing why they love that book.

With these activities, the CSQC-IMC hopes that the Claretians will continue to keep the habit of reading and lead others to read. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
