The Claret School of Quezon City football teams have maintained their elite and powerhouse status in the grassroots football.
The boys Under-7 years old (born 2016-2017) and Under-9 years old (born 2014-2015) made it to the semifinals of the cup division and earned podium finishes in the recently concluded RIFA Cumulative Festivals co-hosted by Claret School of Quezon City and Colegio San Agustin.
Meanwhile, the Under-11 years old team made it to the elite eight quarterfinal round in the boys born 2012-2013 category. The team did not lose a single match in regular time in the playoff round but did not get some luck in the penalty shootout - often opined as the dreaded lottery - against eventual runner-up International School Manila and Xavier School. Claret went on to beat Marist School in the 3rd place match.
RIFA (Rizal Football Association) is the biggest and longest-running grassroots and youth inter-school football competition in Metro Manila with member schools Claret School of QC, Ateneo, Xavier School, La Salle Greenhills, Don Bosco Mandaluyong, Don Bosco Makati, Dela Salle Zobel, Colegio San Agustin, Faith Academy, International School Manila, Marist School, HED Center, Southridge, Aquinas School, La Salle College Antipolo, FEU, UST, Dela Salle Lipa, San Beda University, among others.
Year after year, Claret has consistently qualified in the RIFA Cumulative Festival playoff round with the constant and full support of the CSQC administrators and parents.
