As CSQC prepares for the 2024-2025 school year, a seminar titled "Aligning Instruction & Assessment for Better Teaching and Learning" was held at CSQC Gallardo Hall on July 4, 2024. This seminar, which directly addresses improving teaching and learning, featured Dr. Miguel Q. Rapatan, a renowned expert in educational strategies. 

Dr. Rapatan emphasized the importance of aligning instructional methods with assessment practices to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes. He explained that aligning instruction with assessment ensures that students understand the material and can effectively demonstrate their knowledge and skills. 

The seminar, attended by the entire Academic Unit of CSQC and sponsored by Alagang Phoenix, included interactive discussions and activities. Dr. Rapatan discussed setting clear learning objectives, developing aligned assessments, and using data-driven approaches to inform teaching. He also underscored the need for continuous professional development and collaboration among educators, which are crucial for fostering a supportive and growth-oriented academic community.
