The Grades 9 and 10 Levels had their Family Day last March 4 in the morning at the CSQC Auditorium. With a variety of booths put up and activities planned, students, parents, faculty, and staff, all came together to celebrate with the theme "Family Funday Out 2023".
The program started with a Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF, School Director and concelebrated by Fr. Charles Jocris Mortela, CMF, Spiritual Director. During the program which followed, Mrs. Clarinda Berja, the Grade 9 CSQC-PTA Level President, delivered her opening remarks with the encouragement to continue collaborating and supporting the Claretian community.
Throughout the day, engaging family activities and contests such as Zumba, TikTok Performances, Cheer Dance Competition, Games, and Showcase of Talents were conducted, while food, prizes, and batch shirts were given to the participants.
The Leuterio family emerged victorious in the basketball game, showing off their impressive skills and teamwork on the court.
Meanwhile, 9-James Giron, CMF won the Tiktok Dance Contest with their creative and energetic performance.
The Cheer Dance competition was dominated by 10-Saint Alphonsus Liguori, who impressed the audience with their synchronized and well-coordinated routines.
Grade 10 students won the Longest Line and Bottle Flip, displaying their precision and focus.
During intermission performances, students and teachers sang their hearts out. Meanwhile, the parents showed off their dancing skills that added to the festive atmosphere during the event.
Mrs. Rowena Oflaria, Grade 10 CSQC-PTA Level President, ended the program by emphasizing the importance of family in the lives of the children.
Hosted by Ms. Mellen O. Del Mundo and Rayjohn Oflaria, the event brought together the students, teachers, staff, and administrators in the spirit of camaraderie and celebration.
