In response to the series of typhoons that brought continuous heavy rainfall and widespread flooding across Metro Manila and other parts of the country, Claret School of Quezon City (CSQC) continued its initiative, Tulong Claretiano, which began on July 23, 2025.
On Saturday, July 26, CSQC volunteers, led by Fr. Victor Sadaya, CMF, School Director, and Fr. Jeffrey Rasay, Head of Mission and Identity and the Faith Education and Enrichment Team, mobilized to deliver aid to severely affected communities. The team, composed of PTA, alumni, students, football coaches, and school personnel, distributed morning snacks and relief goods to the following areas:
- Old Capitol Site (OCS)-Masaya Community
- OCS Pechayan Community
- San Vicente Community
In addition to the relief packs, 110 hot meals were prepared and served to evacuees at the Old Capitol Site Pechayan Community, providing much-needed nourishment and comfort to displaced families.
The funds used for this relief operation came from generous donations shared by various individuals and groups who responded to the call for help. CSQC extends its heartfelt gratitude to all donors whose kindness and support made this initiative possible.
The Tulong Claretiano initiative reflects CSQC’s enduring commitment to social responsibility and community service. By responding swiftly and compassionately to the needs of those affected, the school continues to exemplify its mission of faith, service, and solidarity.
