On March 12, 2026, a meaningful tree planting activity was successfully conducted through the collaboration of the Steward Ministry of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (IHMP), Faith Education and Enrichment Team (FEET), and the Environmental Awareness Club of Claret School of Quezon City. The event served as the culminating activity of the club’s environmental initiatives and legacy, highlighting the shared commitment of both groups to care for creation and promote environmental stewardship within the community.
The activity gathered members of the Environmental Awareness Club who worked together in planting young trees that will contribute to a greener and healthier environment. The initiative aimed not only to plant trees but also to inspire the Senior High School students to take active roles in protecting and nurturing nature.

The tree seedlings planted during the activity were generously donated by the IHMP Stewardship Ministry Coordinators Mr. Bong Doctor, a CSQC alumnus and his dedicated wife Mrs. Marissa Doctor from their home urban nursery. Their contribution played a vital role in making the activity possible and demonstrated their support for community-based environmental programs that encourage sustainable living and environmental care.

The event was also graced by the presence of Fr. Julius Boado, CMF, who accompanied the students during the activity. His presence reflected the parish’s continued encouragement of programs that promote environmental responsibility and care for God’s creation.

This collaborative effort has strengthened their sense of community while actively contributing to environmental preservation. The tree planting activity stands as a reminder that small, collective actions can lead to meaningful and lasting positive impacts on the environment - that will inspire more people to take part in future environmental efforts for the benefit of the community and the generations to come. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
