January 29, 2026 marked the beginning of the Off-Campus Work Immersion Activity of the Grade 12 students of Claret School of Quezon City, where they were deployed to different companies to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom into the field of employment. The program was designed to enhance the students’ technical abilities as well as their interpersonal and professional skills. Through hands-on experiences and exposure to actual work environments, students were able to gain practical insights into their respective fields of study. This program also aimed to develop a stronger understanding of workplace expectations, responsibilities, and professional conduct, ultimately preparing them for their future academic pursuits and career paths.
To ensure the successful attainment of the program’s objectives, the school established partnerships with various government agencies, educational institutions, and private organizations to serve as deployment sites for the students. These partnerships provided learners with valuable opportunities to apply their academic knowledge and develop practical skills in real-world professional environments. Among the institutions that collaborated with the school are the Quezon City Government, Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development, Philippine Information Agency, National Food Authority, University Hotel, Phoenix Publishing House, Philippine School of Business Administration, and Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. These partner institutions accommodated students in different departments and work settings, allowing them to gain exposure to diverse professional practices and organizational structures. In addition to these formal partnerships, the parents of Grade 12 STEM students also assisted the school in identifying and coordinating with potential companies and organizations that could host students.
Before being deployed, the students had their pre-work immersion activities. The students attended an online orientation on January 26, ensuring they were ready to engage responsibly and professionally in their assigned workplaces. Students then participated in a mock interview and on-campus immersion on January 28, followed by their first day of reporting to their assigned workplaces on January 29.
The program concluded on February 6 with their last day of off-campus work immersion.
