On March 29 and April 5, 2025, two Claretian teams under the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand engaged in meaningful discussion and a case competition on the transportation issues plaguing the country at the Development Economics Conference of the Ateneo (DECA). The event consisted of two informative sessions. The first talk tackled a city's walkability as a means of public transportation and the second talk discussed the economic impact of enclaved communities. After the sessions, participants were tasked to create a business case solving the public transit woes of Metro Cebu.

The participants included the following students:

Team A: Clark Kenji Mariano, Gerard Ray Martija, Rayjohn Raphael Oflaria, Phoenix Lance Rabang
Team B: Marc Edward Bamba, Clarence Koby Basco, John Denver Mendoza, Rezekiel Ugang

The students brought honor to the school with CSQC Team B clinching Second Place in the competition.

Before the event, the participants also attended a series of online economics lectures at the Basic Economics Conference of the Ateneo (BECons), which culminated in an in-person comprehensive examination. Rayjohn Raphael Oflaria was hailed as one of the top scorers, placing fourth overall.

Congratulations, Claretians! #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
