In the spirit of the Lenten season, a time of reflection and sacrifice, we embarked on a spiritual path of love for God and our neighbors through the Alay Kapwa in the form of medical mission to the underserved individuals from the different communities under the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (IHMP) and blood donation drive last April 12, 2025. The Faith Education and Enrichment Department (FEED) and the Parent-Teachers Association (PTA) collaborated in this initiative.
The beneficiaries received free health check-up services, medicine, relief donation, and food during the medical mission at the Gate 6 Waiting Area and Primary Gym. Sincerest gratitude to the IHMP parishioners and all the parents who extended their voluntary services as doctors and facilitators; and the wholehearted support from the CSQC personnel, SHS students and other volunteers. We are also grateful to Bell-Kenz Pharma Foundation, Inc., Quezon City Health Department, and to the PTA for the generous donation of medicines and vitamins.
Furthermore, the blood donation drive was also conducted at Gonzalez Hall with trained medical professionals from the Philippine Red Cross-Quezon City Chapter to ensure the health and safety of all donors. Utmost appreciation to all the school administrators, teachers, parents, students, parishioners, volunteers, and the participation of the PCX ADV Alliance Club, making this event a significant opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others.
Greater things are possible for God in and through us. With every effort, we were able to reach out to serve as instruments for God’s healing to flow.
