March 20, 2025—CSQC joyfully welcomed the alumni of the Pioneer High School Class of 1975 to celebrate their Golden Jubilee. The special day began with a thanksgiving mass at the Heart of Mary Chapel, where Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF, the School Director, officiated the celebration.
In his inspiring homily, Fr. Mau reflected on the day’s readings, encouraging the jubilarians to embody the essence of fruitful trees. He emphasized the importance of remaining deeply rooted in Christ while generously sharing their lives with others, particularly those in need. Fr. Mau also urged the alumni to treasure their meaningful and joyful memories as they continue their journey of hope.
As part of the Golden Jubilarian’s token of love to Claret School, they unveiled their solar power facility project marker in the school's central lobby. At the Fr. Santiago G. Gonzalez Hall, a contract signing with the project partner, Solviva Energy, an AboitizPower Company, followed.
With Dr. Raul Palma and Dr. Jesus Sison as hosts, the official program began with an opening prayer led by Mr. Bonifacio Legaspi, Jr., followed by welcome remarks from Mr. Ramon David. The program recognized the jubilarians, spouses present, and special guests, including former faculty and staff. In a poignant moment, attendees observed a moment of silence to remember the batch members who had passed away.
In an expression of gratitude to the Class of 1975 for returning to Claret School of Quezon City and giving back as they celebrated their Golden Jubilee on the same grounds where they once pursued their dreams as young Claretians, Fr. Mau conveyed a message to remind the jubilarians of their Claretian identity as selfless and ardent missionaries.
Nostalgia set in as a video was shown, reflecting on their memories at CSCQ and their brotherhood's growth over the years. The footage captured not only cherished moments but also highlighted the significant growth and bonds formed as Claretians, reminding everyone of the enduring connections that have flourished.
Following this, a Golden Jubilee recognition ceremony took place, with Fr. Mau presenting a certificate of merit to each member of the Pioneer High School Class of 1975 who was in attendance. They were honored for their loyalty to the School and their exemplary service to others, guided by the values and example of St. Anthony Mary Claret.
The program concluded with the singing of the Claret School March and the inspiring closing remarks from Mr. Christopher Barrameda, who reminded everyone to take time to listen as they spend the remaining years of their lives as the Golden Sons of Claret School of Quezon City.
The morning event was a heartwarming celebration of community, reflection, and the lasting bonds formed during their years at Claret School. The Jubilarians left with renewed spirits, motivated to nurture their roots and give back to the community that helped shape them.
This memorable gathering served as a reunion and a reminder of the Jubilarians’ collective journey and the timeless impact of Claretian education and formation. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
