Nursery Program
The Junior Nursery and Senior Nursery Curriculum is a seamless integration of subjects crafted into a series of modules for one whole school year. Each module consists of 12-15 sessions where the learning areas, Reading, Language, Math, Music and Movement, Values Education, Art, Penmanship, and Practical Life are included. Exploration and more engagement happen through Fun Friday activities.
Grade School and Kindergarten Program The Kindergarten Curriculum is a web of learning experiences that are intertwined. The thematic curriculum integrates the concepts and skills in Reading, Language, Filipino, Math, Christian Living Education, Music, Art, PE, Penmanship and Practical Life.
Kindergarten students are also given an opportunity to explore their hobbies and interests in Theater, Science, Sports, Music and Movement, Cooking, and Arts and Crafts through Fun Thursday activities.
The Grade School curriculum is designed to develop the holistic development of learners through academic excellence and Christian values formation. These twin goals are realized in the academic and non-academic programs via the practice of integration through the melding of subject matters and learning activities, values infusion through the inculcation of Claretian values in the learning activities, learner-centered methods, reading and writing across the curriculum, cooperative learning methods, involvement of community resources, and special programs that make provisions for the needs of diverse learners in the school.
Academic subjects in the Grade School include Christian Living Education, Mathematics, Science, Reading, Language, Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, Music, Art, Physical Education, Home Economics and Livelihood Education (HELE), and Computer.
High School Program
The High School academic program is anchored on the school’s thrust of integral formation. This formation ensures the development of the thinking skills through the acquisition of knowledge and strategies for sound decision making, and the application of acquired knowledge and skills in pursuits that respond to the needs of the underprivileged and advocate responsible stewardship of God’s creation. The curriculum prepares students for entry into college. While academic excellence through the various curricular offerings are very important, physical, and emotional health, social responsibility, cultural enrichment, and spiritual well- being are likewise strengthened through the cocurricular and extracurricular activities, and other school activities and celebrations that make school life more engaging, authentic, and meaningful. All this is geared toward the integral formation of the student.
The subjects in the Junior High School include Christian Living Education, Mathematics, Science, English, Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH), Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) which includes Computer and Robotics and Practical Arts.
The Senior High School Program focuses on the Academic Track with the following strands:
Accounting, Business and Management (ABM)
This strand prepares students who wish to pursue business-related courses in college. The school offers business education that aims to engage students in management, investment, finance, economics, and entrepreneurship. Students are immersed in tasks and activities that develop skills in planning, strategizing, and fostering healthy relationships in a business organization.
Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)
This strand is designed for students who wish to take up philosophy, communication arts, journalism, education, and other social science-related courses in college. Students are engaged in authentic tasks that develop skills in communication (oral and written), information and media literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
This strand prepares students who wish to pursue STEM-related courses in college. The school offers a STEM education that develops students with relevant skills for innovation, experimentation, problem solving, and critical thinking. Students are engaged in tasks that help them comprehend and apply science in pursuing real-world purposes. Research constitutes a major aspect of student engagement. As students are immersed in rigorous content, they are being prepared and motivated to pursue advanced science.
1.2 What academic support programs are offered by the school?
The school has provisions for the academically gifted and fast learners specifically in Mathematics, and Science. Intervention programs are also provided for academic enrichment in Mathematics, Filipino, and Reading.
1.3 What mode of teaching is used by the school?
The school has shifted to full face-to-face (onsite) teaching modality. However, for communications and other academic-related student tasks and engagements, Microsoft 365 is utilized.
1.4 What platform is used for academic-related student engagements and online transactions?
CSQC uses the cloud-based Microsoft 365 as the teaching-learning platform. Orientation on the use of this platform and onboarding are scheduled with students and parents before the start of the academic year.
2. FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING
2.1 Is the reservation fee deductible upon payment of fees?
The reservation fee is automatically deducted from the student account upon payment during enrolment.
2.2 How do parents pay the tuition fees and other dues?
The General Guidelines on Payment are posted in the school’s Website.
2.3 What reference number is used when making payments through the merchant banks listed in the CSQC’s website?
The reference number referred to is the Student ID Number. Include the student’s name for proper posting of payment by the bank and the school’s Finance Office.
2.4 Does Claret School offer the credit card facility payment?
Yes, CSQC accepts credit card payment onsite through the school cashier.
2.5 Where can we find the updated list and price of textbooks?

2.6 Do we pay separately for the PTA fee?
The PTA fee of P300 per student is charged as part of other fees collected upon enrolment.
2.7 What shall we do upon receiving an SMS informing us about previous account balance?
When your son’s account shows an existing balance, please pay the full amount before enrolling your son for the incoming school year.
For student’s account with a credit balance, the credit balance will be treated as a deposit payment for his matriculation fees if enrolling for the incoming school year.
In case the student is not enrolling for the incoming school year, or has graduated from the school, the credit balance shall be refunded for deposit to the parent’s bank account. 2.8 What happens to unutilized fees collected for the current school year?
Unutilized fees are reimbursed by crediting them to the student account for the current school year.

2.9 Some parents receive an SMS on their son’s account balance, how come other parents do not receive any SMS?
If SMS regarding account balance is not received, it is either the student has fully paid the scheduled payment, or the mobile number registered with CSQC is not updated. 2.10 What does the online platform fee cover?
The online platform fee covers the use of licensed MS 365 which is the online platform of the School. This gives students an access to the online portal and other licensed applications needed for seamless learning experience with CSQC. Enrolled students, too, are given a personal e-mail and cloud-based storage connected with the school domain via @claretschool.edu.ph.
2.11 If we already have an installed and licensed Office 365, can the fee be deducted?
The fee cannot be deducted. The licensed MS Office 365 of the school must be linked with each student for seamless learning experience. Each student shall be given an official account linked to the School's domain once enrolled. The access to our system will be provided by the school.
2.12 Are the parents required to purchase a separate licensed MS 365?
The school shall provide the licensed MS 365 and this is included in the miscellaneous fees. Each student will be given an account once officially enrolled.
2.13 Why do we have to pay online library fee when students can access the free resources online?
The best option for resources is from licensed digital resources. The school has subscriptions to EBSCOHost Databases, Britannica School Online, World Book Online, and other research data bases.

3.2 How do I get Transcript of Records (TOR)?

Attach the official request from the school where the concerned student is enrolled. The Registrar’s Office sends the credential to the receiving school through courier (D.O. No. 54, s.2016).

Transcript of Records is requested for Studies Abroad, Further Studies, and Employment Purposes.

3.5 How do we apply for ESC/SHS Voucher Program Grants?
CSQC is a participating school in the Education Service Contracting (ESC) and Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Programs of the Department of Education through the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC).
For the ESC Grant:
Grade 7 students may apply for the ESC Grant. Learners and their parents/guardians are responsible for their own applications. For more details on eligibility and procedure, please check DepEd Order No.20, s.2017. 1. ACADEMICS
1.1 What curriculum will be offered?
Claret School of Quezon City offers a curriculum based on the DepEd’s most essential learning competencies. Christian Living Education and the entire program of the Faith Education and Enrichment Department shall still be in place to ensure the integration of academic excellence and Claretian Values. All these are delivered through Claret Operative Distance Education or the CODE.
1.2 What platform shall be used?
CSQC uses the cloud-based Microsoft 365 as the teaching-learning platform. Orientation on the use of this platform and onboarding is scheduled with students and parents before the start of the academic year.
1.3 To what extent and in what Grade Level will parent assistance be required?
Parent assistance will be required from Junior Nursery Level to Grade 3 Level. However, it is recommended that parents should closely collaborate with the teachers in all levels for a better learning experience of the students.
1.4 Will the distance education of the School be in full scale for one school year?
Yes, the Claret Operative Distance Education (CODE) is in full scale for the entire school year.

2.10 What will I do upon receiving the notice/SMS on student account balance?
For students enroling in CSQC for SY 2021-2022:
- those with credit balance, the amount shall be deducted from the enrolment payment; and
- those with existing balance, the balance from the previous school year shall be paid in full prior to their enrolment for the current year.
For students who are not enroling in CSQC for SY 2021-2022:
