Fellow members of the administration, the faculty and staff, parents and relatives of the Grade 12 Claretians, dear Batch Valiant, good afternoon.
Dear Claretians, Batch Valiant—as you approach the end of your Senior High School journey, it is time to reflect on your experiences and achievements, and to recognize your growth as individuals along the missionary path. Together with your family and everyone of us here present, you look back as you keep the memory of the heart which remembers forever with joy and gratitude. Being Claretians, your valiant spirit, the gift of courage and determination from God, has carried you through the challenges and obstacles you have faced.
Being valiant means being brave in the face of adversity, and it is a quality that is more important now especially in a world that can be uncertain and unpredictable. One has to take risks, push beyond the limits, stand according to the standards and values of the Gospel, and persevere in the face of difficulty. With a valiant spirit one becomes a true missionary—taking the path of genuine service at all times without reservation.
Each one of you may have demonstrated that valiant spirit in your own unique way. You may have faced personal struggles, academic hurdles, or social challenges, but you have never given up. You have shown resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to your goals.
As you prepare to leave Claret School of Quezon City and move to the next chapter of your lives, I encourage you to continue to be valiant. Embrace new opportunities, even if these may be intimidating or unfamiliar. Live according to the Claretian values and never forget the strength and courage you have shown so far. Face your fears and never give up. With the grace of God, you will reach your dreams with greater boldness and determination.
You have been blessed to make a difference in the world, and I believe that each and everyone of you will make use of your individual gifts to do great things. With your valiant spirit, always remember to make a positive impact on the world.
We, your Claretian family, shall accompany you always with our prayers together with the prayers of St. Anthony Mary Claret: Lord, our God, we thank you for the gift of these Claretians, Batch Valiant. We thank you for guiding and protecting them during their journey at Claret School of Quezon City and for blessing them with the gifts and talents that helped them persevere in the face of adversity.
As they prepare to take a new path in their lives, we ask that you bless them with wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions. May they always seek your assistance in all their endeavors, and may they find meaning and fulfillment in their chosen paths.
Grant them greater courage and strength as they remain valiant amidst challenges. Help them to overcome obstacles as you keep them in your love.
May they grow in Christian maturity by living the Claretian values as they take the path of knowledge that is best with virtue, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, become Christ’s witnesses in the world.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. May Almighty God bless you, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Congratulations on all that you have accomplished so far and all the best ahead for a bright and valiant future!
SCIENTIA MAXIME CUM VIRTUTE
Thank you.
