This year’s career activities for SHS students, organized by CSQC’s Student Development Center, concluded on February 7 with the career forum for Grade 11 Claretians.

The said forum featured Claretian alumni and other resource persons who shared valuable insights with the students. The speakers, who served as adult mentors, provided guidance on educational demands, requirements, training, job responsibilities, and other important information related to the students’ career interests.

The speakers included Ruben Lanot (Entrepreneurship), Nathan Correa (Accountancy), Ishmael Tan (Marketing), Marbin Macalino (Arts and Design), Dwight Lopez (Psychology), Atty. Joel Arzaga (Political Science), Angelo Cachuela (Information Technology), Dr. John Ryan Aspiras (Medical and Healthcare), and Lawrence David (Engineering).

For the Grade 12 students, an earlier career seminar, "Adaptation,” was conducted last August 27 with Mr. Serafin Geronimo, Jr. as resource speaker. This was followed by a college orientation session featuring representatives from Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, and the University of Santo Tomas.

On the same day, Gallardo Hall hosted a college fair for Grade 12 students. This event featured 45 higher education institutions, allowing students to interact with admissions representatives and gain insights into application requirements, academic policies, scholarships, programs, and services. The students found the event insightful, engaging, and enjoyable, but they wished more time had been available. All these SHS career activities were designed to equip students with the knowledge and resources they need to successfully navigate their educational and career journeys. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
