As Claret School of Quezon city ushered in the YEAR 2019, thanksgiving masses were held by the school community last January 11. The 7:45 masses for the high school unit were celebrated by Fr. Christopher Ligason, CMF and Fr. Santiago Gonzalez, CMF. The 1:30 afternoon mass was presided by Fr. Mauricio Ulep, CMF who also celebrated his birthday (January 14) in advance.

At 3:00 in the afternoon, the school personnel gathered at the Prep Covered Court for a simple agape for Fr. Mau’s birthday celebration. The event began with   the singing of birthday song and the blowing of candles by Fr. Mau. After the blessing, everyone partook of the simple merienda which was served. Despite its simplicity, the members of the school community were able to express their greetings and gratitude to the School Director through their well-wishes, prayers, gifts and tokens and most especially through their presence in the said occasion. Representatives from the SBC and CBS , PTA  and some visitors also came to give their birthday greetings to Fr. Mau.  It was indeed a day of THANKSGIVING and  a celebration of LIFE!
