As a way of experiencing audacity in mission through authentic service, the CSQC personnel engaged in outreach activity last March 23, 2024. The said Alay Kapwa Encounter held at the Manila Boys Town in Marikina was intended as the Integration Day Program for the month of March.

During the activity, the CSQC personnel, who were organized according to their Bible Sharing Group, encountered the children through group dynamics and conversations. With the tokens, gifts, prizes and games prepared by each group, the children found the morning encounter fun and enjoyable. Several children also expressed themselves with their stories and talents. With the assurance of warmth and care, the encounter became a safe and comfortable space for most of the children.

As the Claretian personnel went back to the school campus, small group reflection and sharing were facilitated to deepen their encounter with the children at Marikina Boys Town. While the said encounter brought joy and gladness to the children, the Claretian personnel were enriched with the spirit of service and solidarity. The said mission encounter experience will become part of their reflection as they celebrate the Lord’s passion, death and resurrection in the coming days. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
