As a way of helping others especially during this time of the pandemic, the CSPTA conducted a fund-raising activity dubbed as “More to Give: The Claretian Way.” The “Raffle Draw for a Cause” was held to support the following:

  1. the CSPTA Projects such as providing financial assistance to parents, teachers and students alike through the Mutual Aid Fund, Educational Assistance Fund and Student Development Fund; outreach programs, seminars, family days, and other events which promote and enhance parent/family-school partnership;
  2. the activities and projects of the Grade School Faculty Association, the High School Faculty Association and the Administration and Support Staff Association which include outreach and wellness programs and financial assistance to both present and past members of the three associations; and
  3. the various programs and advocacies of the Claretian Missionaries in the Philippine Province especially as they celebrate their 75 years of missionary presence.

In a live event via MS Teams, the entire Claret School of Quezon City community gathered virtually last April 23, 2021 at 2:00 in the afternoon to witness the CSPTA Raffle Draw.

Prior to the raffle draw proper, Mrs. Rowena B. Oflaria, the Director of the CSPTA Ways and Means Committee, gave her opening remarks. Several sections were also recognized during the program for their unwavering support for the said fund-raising activity.

Before drawing the grand winners, the School Director, Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF gave his message to the school community. Mrs. Joy Tayamen, the CSPTA President also thanked the whole Claretian community for supporting their activities this SY 2020-2021 despite the present-day challenges.

Once again, the recent CSPTA activity has been a manifestation that home and school partnership is most essential especially during these times when the HOME has also become the SCHOOL to our Claretian students. Please click here for the list of winners.
