As the Child Study Center continues to build confidence and promote excellence among the students and provides opportunities to maximize students’ full potentials, the Spelling Bee was held last February 14, 2020. Students aged 4-6 competed in different categories. Seventeen (17) Senior Nursery students and thirteen (13) Kindergarten students vied for the title of SN and Kindergarten Spelling Bee Champions.

The contest highlighted the students’ abilities in spelling, comprehension, vocabulary and following directions—all of which are essential in promoting early literacy among the students. The contestants listened carefully to the quizmaster and focused on each question. They were asked to write the missing letters, arrange the jumbled letters or spell the words.
