As part of their Catholic formation, students from the Grade Three Level received Jesus in Holy Communion for the first time last February 2, 2019. Prior to the reception of the Sacrament, the students had an orientation, recollection and first Confession.

Together with their parents and teachers, the Grade Three students were led to this significant milestone of their Catholic life with Fr. Santiago G. Gonzalez, CMF as presider and homilist during the celebration.

The students shall continue to nurture their life with Jesus in the Eucharist with the help and inspiration of their families and the school community.

Fr. Gonzalez' Homily during the 1st Holy Communion of the Gr.3 Level

Jesus, is the smile, delight, great pleasure, joyfulness, jubilation, exultation, rejoicing, happiness, gladness, bliss, ecstasy, the  radiance, the joyfulness of the Father; Nothing contents, pleases me, Son, but your company, I am pleased in you alone, you are my wisdom, my image. The joy of Jesus is the Father and the Father and Jesus are one thing.

Jesus in person is then the joy of God the Father who appeared in the world to be given to men/women, to boys/girls.

He is the gift of salvation, the promised joyfulness, expected by all people who lived, and will live in the world.

Jesus found space, room, in the heart of Mary and in the womb of Mary that, as a virgin land, still accept God as in the Garden of Eden and enjoy its presence.

The birth of Jesus is announced as the greatest joy for the world. At night an angel of the Lord appeared to some shepherds and told them: I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. The announcement made the shepherds run on the road and they found a CHILD newly born, in humility and in the dirtiest poverty’. Also the wise men were overjoyed at seeing the star and the Child is born for us and a Son is given to us: Jesus whose government is upon His shoulder: and His Name means Savior.

The joy of the Father is coming to your heart today to bring joy as he brought joy to the shepherds who were caring for their sheep… Savior has been born for you… you will find him in a manger, in humility and in the most dirty poverty.

The joy of the Father is coming to your heart today to bring joy as he brought joy to the wise men, when they saw the star on top where Jesus was in the manger with his Mother and father Joseph; and, they were overjoyed. And they offered gifts to him and adored the Child born for us and a Son given to us: Whose government is upon His shoulder.

God brought joy to Mary welcoming him in her Heart and Womb and wrapped him in swaddling clothes.

TODAY IT IS YOUR TURN to receive the JOY, the smile, the delight, the pleasure, the joyfulness, the jubilation, the rejoicing, the happiness, the gladness, the bliss, the ecstasy, the radiance,  the Son of the FATHER...

The Father LOVES YOU AS HE LOVED JESUS HIS ONLY SON.

Claret in 1817 says, “When I was ten years old, I was allowed to make my first Communion. Words cannot tell what I felt, what I sensed, noticed, experienced, the emotion, the sensation, on that day when I had the unequaled JOY of receiving my good Jesus into my heart for the first time. From then on I always frequented the sacraments of Penance and Communion, but how fervently and with what devotion and love: more than now (38) “Jesus comes to give, TO FEED, TO NOURISH YOU WITH HIS BODY AND BLOOD BECAUSE I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE".
