During the 18th Philippine Robotics Olympiad 2019 held on the first week of September, two teams of Claretian students garnered awards. The Team A of the Robot Soccer, composed of Alaric Espina, Jan-Kristoper Cuevas and Gabriel Flores from the High School Unit, was declared Champion and the team will represent the Philippines in the World Robot Olympiad 2019 in Gyor, Hungary.

3rd Place Open Category (Elementary): Noa Moises Elias M. Amor, Joaquin Manuel L. Santos, and Sean Benedict M. Sansales
On the other hand, the CSQC Grade School Team for Open Category composed of Noa Moises Elias M. Amor, Joaquin Manuel L. Santos, and Sean Benedict M. Sansales won the Third Place in the said category. The WeDo Regular Team B with John Peter D. Manalo, Railey Royce T. Ballentos, and Vince Reiner B. Cambri ranked 4th in the said category.
High School Robotics Regular Team
With this year’s theme “Smart Cities”, Claretian students exhibited their best in Robot Soccer competition and in creating intelligent robotics solutions related to the theme. The other Claretian teams include:
- Arcee Benedicto, Vincent Angelo Cunanan, and Enzo Raphael A.Zapanta in the Robot Soccer Team B;
- Ethaniel John D. Escalante, Steven Coase Parlan P. Cruz, and Elian Iñigo A. de Vera in the WeDo Open Category;
- Gabriel Maximus S. Lima, Rafael Jon D. Escalona, and Jon Dominador A. Gomez III in the WeDo Regular Team A.
