The Land Transportation and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and Claret School of Quezon City conducted an inspection of school service vehicles last March 9, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the school quadrangle. The team was headed by Inspector John Cabaltera from the Office of the Regional Director LTFRB-NCR.

The LTFRB is responsible for promulgating, administering, enforcing, and monitoring compliance of policies, laws, and regulations of public land transportation services. The agency is in charge of granting franchises or accreditations and regulating public vehicles that include school services.

As part of the accreditation process for SY 2019-2020, The Office of External Affairs and Student Services Department invited the LTFRB Team to inspect Claret School of Quezon City school service vehicles. The school also conducted its own separate inspection at the same time to prepare for early enrollment in April. The school service operators were asked to prepare the necessary documents and requirements.

We are grateful for the LTFRB’s continued support to the school service providers and we appreciate the recommendations that they give so that the operators can be fully compliant with the latest LTFRB guidelines. This is to ensure the safety of the school children under our care.
